How do I set up a bake sale to raise funds for Logifem’s oven?
So you want to fundraise for Logifem, that’s wonderful!
- Set up a time and place to host the event (back-to-church picnic, parent-teacher conference at school, office break room, sporting event, etc).
- Register your event with us by contacting Jessica at jessica.legault@logifem.org. You can use one of our templates to help promote your sale, create a Facebook event, etc.
- Recruit participants willing to donate muffins, cupcakes, pies, loaves, cookies, etc , and package them for individual sale.
- Host your bake sale and donate the proceeds to Logifem!
What is the goal of the fundraiser?
Logifem needs a new industrial oven for the shelter’s kitchen, which also needs new cabinets. Our fundraising target is $10,000 for this project.
How do I donate the money to Logifem after the bake sale?
The proceeds can be submitted through our Paypal account.

Will I get an income tax receipt?
All individual donations of more than $20 will receive an income tax receipt, and should be made separately from the proceeds of the bake sale, which are not eligible for a tax receipt. Proceeds from the bake sale should be submitted here or by mailing a cheque to Logifem Inc.
I can’t organise a bake sale but would still like to contribute. Can I organise another event instead?
We aren’t picky about how we reach our fundraising goal! If you would rather simply make a donation, or are better at carwashes than bake sales, feel free to get creative in personalising your event.
