Join us for our 30th anniversary Christmas Concert at St-Jax on Thursday November 29th at 7 pm!
Logifem is proud to announce that it will be celebrating its 30th anniversary this December! To honour this joyous occasion, we have invited the Imani Family Choir to perform a special Christmas concert.
This festive event will take place at St-Jax Montreal, the historic church formerly known as St. James the Apostle Anglican Church. Built in 1864 and recently renovated, St-Jax has re-opened to host different community activities. This vibrant new space is the perfect venue to celebrate our 30th and Nancy Monroe-Ingram, the Choir Director, has prepared a unique and entertaining repertoire to highlight the occasion. Gospel music, Christmas traditional songs and modern medleys with a sing along portion will be on the program.
The Imani Family Choir formed in 2005, is an inter-generational group of approximately 20 talented and passionate singers that exude spirit and joy through song. They have also demonstrated their faith and commitment to social justice through their moving participations in various community events in Montreal, Buffalo, Ottawa, Toronto and Boston.
The concert will be held on Thursday November 29th , 2018 from 7pm – 9pm, doors will open at 6:30pm.
Mulled wine, hot apple cider and festive snacks will be served
