A joyful Christmas to you and yours in this the Season of Christ’s birth
Over 2000 years ago, Jesus came as a helpless baby. He manifested God’s love and grace as he lived and worked as a simple carpenter.
At Logifem, we have had the privilege of little miracles during the past year ; Melodie, Tanya and Imene, Logifem intervention workers, gave birth to beautiful, healthy daughters. Congratulations and best wishes.
Amy was born on November 18, 2014 to Sally Richmond, our Director. We wish her and her husband , Mukiza, God’s richest blessings in their first Christmas season together.
It was because of the anticipated arrival of her first child that I was asked to replace Sally. I am happy to be working with the committed staff team and my hope is that we too are manifesting God’s love and grace in our contact with those residents who have had difficult lives.
One of our biggest projects in 2014 has been the renovation of a building that will house 6 families in the New Year. The women have been selected and are eager to move with their children into this safe and secure environment. We will be supporting these women as they face the challenges of a new start in life.
Christmas can be a hard time for many of our residents. Our prayer for each woman and child is that they would feel loved and that they will be able to face the New Year with courage, hope and strength.
Blessings to you in the Year 2015.
Ruth Bresnen, Interim Director
