We had another wonderful summer camp this year in the Eastern Townships with six children, thirteen adults and a dog.  Activities included canoeing, games, painting, movies, badminton, trampolining and lots of time to relax. The summer camp is a great opportunity for our residents to have a short vacation, to get out of the city and to have a break from some of the challenges they face. It is also a good time for staff to connect with residents in a different context. We are already looking forward to next year’s camp!

One of our residents wrote, “I was able to participate in a three day long summer camp in the Eastern Townships.  This was very pleasant. I had the chance to learn to better understand some of the people I was with. This activity did everyone good; the time spent together, teamwork and group activities.”

Here are some photos.
