A key service to access financial assistance
Each year in March, Logifem offers a free tax clinic service to the women we support, to ensure that they file their income tax report on time and have access to the tax credits (both provincial and federal), government benefits, and financial assistance to which they are entitled.
This service is particularly essential for women who wish to move into or remain in subsidized housing, and for those who need government financial assistance. Without up to date tax filings, these benefits are often not accessible.
